To fulfil obligations under Health & Safety Authority Guidelines it is vital that equipment is kept in good working order through regular maintenance, service, and repair. Healthcare 21 work with customers to provide solutions that best meet their needs ensuring quality and safety of equipment for clients and staff alike.

Maintaining equipment adequately reduces risk of potential harm, while recording and tracking that information in a structured manner, provides customers with the ability to demonstrate proactive and effective management of equipment. Healthcare 21 provide service and repair for a wide range of products including but not limited to Beds, Hoists, Mattresses, Wheelchairs, Comfort /Nursing Care Chairs, Mobility Aids. A large inventory and established supply chains for a wide range of spare parts assists to ensure equipment downtime is minimised.

We use our Asset Management System, AssetTrak, to track and trace each process (Service/Repair/Decontamination) that occurs to equipment and every movement of that equipment while being managed by Healthcare 21. We provide bi-annual Thorough Examination of Patient Hoists and slings in line with LOLER Regulations (Lifting Operations and Lifting Operations Regulations 1998).

We offer a range of Service Contracts from annual Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Contracts to Fully Comprehensive 7/365 Service Contracts, dependent on customer requirements.

All Healthcare 21 Engineers have received certified Manufacturer training and are highly experienced in the repair and maintenance of the equipment we service. A Service Report or Report of Thorough Examination is completed each time we see a product. Electrical Safety Tests conducted in line with IEC 60601 are also completed as required. All test equipment used by the Engineering Team is maintained and calibrated to the required standards annually.
